Important Notice: Hurricane Preparations
As the hurricane approaches, there are many things you need to do to protect your business from being damaged in the storm. One thing that is often forgotten about is protecting your QuickTouch data, in addition to your electronic hardware (computers, printers, monitors, etc.). Protecting your QuickTouch data is essential to your business, so you want to make sure you don’t lose any vital information such as Customer or Sales data.
Here are a few tips from Sage on how to protect your QuickTouch data:
• Ensure you have a good copy of your daily data backup. Some QuickTouch systems are configured to back up the data to the local computer instead of going to a USB (Flash) drive. You should perform a backup of your QuickTouch data ensuring that it is going to the USB (flash) drive. If you are unsure how to perform a backup or would like to verify your backup, please contact our Technical Support Team for assistance.
• Once the backup has been completed, it is best that you take it with you or place it in a safe space that won’t be effected by the storm.
• If possible, move all electronic devices away from areas that may receive water damage or flooding during the storm.
If you have any questions or need help with backing up your data before the hurricane, please don’t hesitate to call our Technical Support Team at 800-724-7400.
From all of us at Sage, we wish you the very best through the storm. Stay safe! How to Backup
